Helps with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and more.
Having worked in private health care for over 10 years, Andy has been able to recognise the value in listening to people. By creating a safe, warm and trusting environment, Andy is able to talk through the many issues that face us on a daily basis. He understands the difficulty and often daunting task of finding a Counsellor, but he is able to ease any worries and thoughts that you may have about the journey you’re about to take.
Andy’s approach to therapy is person centred, which means that he will work with you to establish a trusting and safe working relationship. This will enable you to feel comfortable enough to share your thoughts, emotions, and goals. This will create a foundation on which you can explore how you feel, and how you can make the changes within your life, that you feel are necessary.
Andy has experience of working with a range of complex issues, such as; Anxiety & Depression, Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, Phobias, and many more. Andy also understands that we can often play down how we feel, because we think that “other people are worse off than me”. This can be an all too common barrier when we first seek the support that we need.
